Oladipupo Olabode Oladimenji, better known as Oladips, was a Nigerian pop artist who passed away.

He died on Tuesday night at precisely 10:14 p.m., according to a statement on his Instagram page.

Social media users shared videos of the Lalakukulala crooner appearing to collapse as his friends surrounded him in the late hours of yesterday.

Oladips had appealed for assistance on his Instagram stories prior to the video going viral.

He asked where one of his friends, @onlyonelifetime, was in the post mentioning him. The rapper bemoaned the fact that he had called the friend multiple times and that they were aware of his dislike of being left alone in the house, particularly given his health.

Oladips had kept his “battles within himself” for more than two years, according to the statement.

Oladips’s family is currently holding his body, and funeral arrangements will soon be made public.
