I will always be grateful to you. Burna Boy breaks a new record, delighting fans in the UK.

With his most recent album, “I Told Them,” Nigerian Afro-fusion artist Burna Boy became the first Nigerian act to ever reach the top spot on the UK album chart. Burna Boy has since thanked his UK fans on social media.

Even his UK fans, who have been cheering him on since he achieved the new feat, slid favourably to the adventure he called an impossible term.

He received a plaque in the last few hours for this achievement, which resulted in a very publicised conclusion and happiness.

Burna Boy expressed his sincere gratitude by saying that his UK fans enabled him to achieve what seemed unattainable for a Nigerian artist, referring to them as the pinnacle of his success.

His quote:

“To everyone in the UK who helped me get this album to number one. I will always be indebted to you. Another one of my most improbable dreams has come true thanks to you. This week, I’m going to visit as many locations in the UK as I can to sign as many albums as I can and just hang out with all of you to show my appreciation. You have my undying love. I’m grateful.

Some Nigerians however didn’t find his view thrilling and heavily lambasted him for snubbing them.
